Equipment inspection before wood drying - Inspection of heating system
To ensure the smooth progress of the wood drying process, it is necessary to conduct a systematic inspection of the facilities in the drying room before each drying, especially the internal facilities. Otherwise, if problems occur during the drying process, it will seriously affect the production cycle and drying quality of wood drying, and also have an impact on the service life of the drying equipment. The equipment inspection before drying mainly includes the inspection of the various systems that make up the drying chamber.
Inspection of heating system
The function of the heating system is to heat the drying medium in the drying room, increase and maintain the temperature of the drying medium in the drying room. It should be able to evenly release enough heat and flexibly and reliably adjust the heat transferred, that is, adjust the temperature of the drying medium in the drying room, and have good robustness in high heat and humidity environments. The heating system is the most important component of the drying room, which includes a heater and some steam pipelines.
The inspection of the heating system is to check whether there are any leaks in the heater and steam pipelines in the drying room. The inspection method is to open the valve of the heater appropriately and go to the drying room to listen for any sound of air leakage. While ensuring that the steam pipe valve is fully closed and the steam pressure in the main steam pipeline is normal, if there is a sound of air leakage, it indicates that there is a leak in the heater or steam pipeline. Due to the influence of thermal expansion and contraction of heaters and steam pipelines, outdoor flanges are prone to loosening, resulting in air leakage. Through a large number of maintenance examples, it is shown that most of the places where heaters and steam pipelines leak are at the flange connection or near the flange.
Before opening the kiln, the electric valve needs to undergo a power-on experiment to make it flexible to open or close. If it is found that the electric valve often cannot be opened or closed tightly during drying, it should be dealt with in a timely manner. Otherwise, the dry bulb temperature will not be adjusted reasonably.
