1. Type of wood
The type of wood refers to the category of the boards (or squares) to be dried. According to the various factors affecting the electrical properties of wood and their degree of influence, the microstructure of wood (such as wood bulk weight (density), single lime, resin and wood rays, etc.), the common wood species are classified as shown above.
2. Wood moisture content.
There are two ways to express the moisture content of wood, the relative moisture content of wood and the absolute moisture content of wood. The relative moisture content of wood refers to the percentage of the weight of moisture contained in the wood to the weight of the original wood, namely:
Relative moisture content of wood=[(Wet wood weight-Dry wood weight)/Wet wood weight]×100%
The absolute moisture content of wood refers to the percentage of the weight of moisture contained in the wood to the absolute dry weight of the wood, namely:
Absolute moisture content of wood = [(Wet wood weight-dry wood weight)/Dry wood weight]×100%
The commonly referred to wood moisture content refers to the absolute moisture content. The wood moisture content in this system refers to the absolute moisture content. The natural moisture content of various woods is different. The moisture content value of freshly felled wood is between 30-200%.
