Wood Drying Kiln Heating System
The heating system consists of electric heating valve, stainless steel aluminum compound fin radiator, stop valve and pipeline system. The conduction medium of the heating system is steam. Dn40 stainless steel pipe is used for the steam inlet pipe and DN25 stainless steel pipe is used for the return water pipe, which can effectively speed up the drying speed and shorten the drying cycle. Through the connection of the process pipeline, the electric valve in the system controls the flow to ensure the temperature value required by the drying process. At the same time, it is also equipped with manual ball valve to control the temperature value for the convenience of equipment maintenance and repair.

Principle of Wood Kiln Drying
① In the drying kiln, the wet air driven by the fan absorbs the heat energy of the heat carrier (usually water vapor) when passing through the heater, and then transfers the heat energy to the wet wood to be dried when passing through the stack. After being heated, wet wood vaporizes surface moisture and is absorbed by the medium when the partial pressure of water vapor in the medium is lower than that on the surface of the wood

What are the three basic functions of wood drying equipment
The basic principle of wood drying equipment is that the moisture in wood mainly includes natural moisture and absorbed moisture. The water present in the large capillary system composed of cell cavities is called natural water, and its amount directly affects the weight of wood without affecting its properties; The water present in the microcapillary system composed of cell walls is called adsorbed water. Its changes not only cause wood to shrink and expand, but also affect other physical and mechanical properties of wood.

Wood packaging and kiln loading
1. Sawn timber of different tree species and thicknesses should be packed separately. When the quantity of timber is less than one pack, it is allowed to pack tree species with similar drying characteristics and moisture content in one pack. When there are differences in the thickness of wood among the same tree species, it is necessary to ensure that the thickness of the same layer of wood is consistent. It is not allowed to place wood with different thicknesses on the same layer, and it is necessary to ensure that each wooden board is pressed down by the padding. When packaging, a 30mmx30mm thick spacer strip should be used.

Wood drying kiln for periodic moisture measurements
In hardwood kilns, the conventional wisdom requires that multiple samples which are removed from the wood drying kiln for periodic moisture measurements, be repositioned within the lumber charge in a horizontal orientation, that is parallel to the air stream through the charge. As will be explained in the following, the present invention represents a substantial diversion from conventional thinking and results in a highly accurate measurement apparatus and technique for controlling hardwood kilns
